What happens if morrigan has the child

Since M didn't use WoS, she can't be bounded to Flem. Since she has no child, she's not threatened by Flem, and no soul is taken. So if that's the case, what does Flem do with M when she appears? I lost the save before the choice, so can someone who played this rout tell me what happens? I dislike it that someone has to drink. Better Morrigan than me, but I like her and hate to see her under Mythal's thumb. She really doesn't understands Flemeth though, she thinks that Flemeth wants to use her, when it's not true.

I don't know if this happens without the OGB, but my heart sunk a little when Flemeth made that sad face. I did. It was so worth it. During this sequence there is a dialogue exchange between Flemeth and Morrigan that has some bearing in my estimation. After originally acquiring Flemeth's grimoire way back in DA:O, Morrigan felt threatened by her mothers impending possession of her body in order to extend her long life.

Flemeth specifically clarifies that Morrigan had never been in any danger, as only a willing soul could be a part of that process. Although Kieran is no longer the OGB, he may still be special.

Furthermore, Solas presumably now contains the power and souls of both Mythal and Urthemiel. Flemeth mentions a coming new era in both Dragon Age 2 and Inquisition , which could potentially be referring to the return of the Dread Wolf and the destruction of the Fade. Solas, as the dread wolf with these two new powers, could mean a lot of things for DA4. Solas, on the other hand, is a wild card. It seems possible that the Dark Ritual from Dragon Age: Origins will have particular relevance in Dragon Age 4 , Solas the Dread Wolf will have a number of plans to restore the old Elven world, and now has more power than any single entity seen thus far.

What can be certain is that the world of Dragon Age is on the cusp of a new era one way or another. If the Warden performed the Dark Ritual with Morrigan : Kieran was conceived on the eve of the Battle of Denerim as part of a ritual his mother had proposed.

In fathering the child, the Warden ensured that the soul of the Archdemon would pass into Kieran, making the sacrifice of a Grey Warden 's life unnecessary. Loghain conceived Kieran with Morrigan and thus ensured that no Warden would die when the Archdemon was slain. If Kieran's father is Alistair : Despite his shock at the prospect, Alistair eventually agreed to lay with Morrigan, ensuring that a Warden's death would not be needed to end the Blight.

Upon the death of the Archdemon atop Fort Drakon , its uncorrupted soul passed into Kieran. The Inquisitor encounters Kieran after Morrigan joins the Inquisition as its liaison. He will make a brief appearance in Skyhold , before being told to go back to his studies by his mother. Kieran has a number of comments on the Inquisitor depending on race and class, and on whether he has the soul of Urthemiel or is an ordinary child. If the Inquisitor is a human rogue or warrior : Kieran will either muse on how the Inquisitor is expected to be scary because people "fear the next age if it comes too soon", or find the Inquisitor nice for someone who kills a lot.

If the Inquisitor is a human mage : Kieran will either confess that lyrium gives him "terrible nightmares" and state that lacking the gift of magic is like being blind, or say that his mother wouldn't want him to become a templar and that magic isn't so scary. If the Inquisitor is an elf : Kieran will either say that he doesn't know why the Inquisitor's people "want to look like that" and that their blood is "very old", or confess that he finds elves pretty and laugh at the Inquisitor's large ears.

If the Inquisitor is a dwarf : Kieran will either say that the Inquisitor "can't be taller, not without the titans " or share his own desire to be taller. If the Inquisitor is a Qunari : Kieran will either declare that their blood "doesn't belong" to the Inquisitor's people and express his sorrow at what happened to the people or discuss the Inquisitor's height and scary horns.

If Kieran is asked about his mother: Kieran will either call her "the inheritor, she who awaits the next age" or simply the Witch of the Wilds.
