You run off and the game punishes you by sending all zombies at you. The blood isn't so bad and neither is its predecessor. I think its ok. Positive role models. All I am seeing on this game is to select a lower gore level. But on the above reviews it says you can turn blood off completely? I would love to know how to do that. My boys are I am perfectly fine with them killing zombies but the language is too much for me.

The maps are large, but easy to navigate, there is usually one 'route' that you follow through, together, trying to keep each other alive if people try to run ahead alone, the horde of zombies will take singled out players too quickly. You shouldn't get lost too bad - there are a lot of subliminal directions built into the maps on where to go "the only light" or signs that "point the way", the "only open doors", etc.
There are achievements to go for, both with AI and in Versus modes and while some are easy to get just playing through the story the first time, some are very hard to get and might require looking up tutorials. Even though the Storyline is pretty 'loose' it's a zombie game , the game overall if fast and fun and there is a bit of strategy in handling the levels, choosing when to use things like pipebombs and first aid kits, being able to Revive people, when to use special weapons like mounted machine guns, etc.
