Lex is leaving the hospital when his bodyguard informs him that the gun that shot Lana belonged to Lex. Chloe died after using her powers to heal Lex. She was dead for 18 hours, before coming back to life through her meteor power. Chloe was tortured by Ray, but Clark arrived and freed her. Mr and Mrs Queen in Season Six months later,The now married couple of Oliver and Chloe Sullivan-Queen currently resides within the walls of Watchtower, back in Metropolis.
But as Kreuk revealed to Metro in , it was ultimately her decision to leave Smallville. Lana has changed so much since the first season. So she was always fun to play. After Lana collapsed in pain and passed out, Lex was forced to tell her that she had suffered complications and miscarried the baby. Lana was heartbroken by this revelation and began to cry bitterly. Lana discovers that she was never pregnant. Though Clark was later located in season 8, Lex remained missing and was presumed dead.
Lex long believed that Clark was hiding something from him, but could never be sure what it was. Due to her exceptional computer skills, Oliver Queen chose Chloe as a part-time member of his team of superheroes , working under the codename " Watchtower " in a mission coordinator capacity for intelligence gathering and digital espionage, until she finally decided to become a full-time member. Since then, her career turned from journalism to more of an oversight "Big Sister" position in the superhero community.
After dealing with memory loss from Brainiac 's infection, a wedding nightmare and a serious trust problem , Chloe and her husband Jimmy Olsen were unable to sustain their relationship and got divorced only months later. She was devastated and pleaded with Clark to go back in time and prevent Jimmy's death since it was both of their faults that Jimmy died, but Clark flatly refused, driving a wedge between them and severely straining their friendship.
Since Jimmy's death had left Chloe emotionally destroyed, the only safe space that she found spiritual refuge was the computers of her Watchtower. She began to spend more time there than in the real world, keeping her eyes over Metropolis through the monitors and helping the heroes' community.
This led her to become a harder person, manipulating people like chess pieces in the name of the greater good. Because of the time Chloe spent together with Oliver, the two started to develop an attraction towards each other and decided to try out a relationship "without strings" that ultimately led to real feelings in both.
However, Clark persuaded her to continue helping the community, saying that she was a real hero like him and Oliver and that what she created will be a legacy for future generations of heroes. Chloe was desperate to find Oliver after he was abducted , so she turned to the Helmet of Nabu for help. Not only did she see Oliver's location, but she also saw much of the future threats.
Chloe later traded herself to the kidnappers in exchange for Oliver's release and set up an elaborate fake death so she could disappear and keep her friends safe.
She later extorted Rick Flag into coming under her command, and returned to help and successfully rescue the superheroes from the government. Chloe then revealed to Clark that she was moving to Star City as the newest hire for the Star City Register , and she left town with her new husband, Oliver. After the " Crisis ", Chloe gave birth a son, Jonathan, and accepted a position at the Department of Extranormal Operations at the invitation of Steve Trevor. Chloe in high school.
Chloe is a young, fair Caucasian female of medium height and a curvaceous slim figure, who has green eyes and neck-length curly and for a while, straight blonde hair with bangs that are sometimes blunt or side-swept. Initially, like her personality, Chloe's appearance was a contrast to Lana Lang 's in practically every way. While Lana favored a softer, wholesome "girl next door" look, Chloe's style was always spunkier and rebellious — from her cropped, layered hair to the brightly-colored prints that she wore and her daringly low and revealing necklines.
During the course of the series, Chloe's style has evolved both with the changing fashion trends and the character's maturation. However, several attributes of Chloe's appearance have remained consistent — most notably her range of short hairstyles versus the long hairs of Lana Lang, Lois and Lucy Lane , Tess Mercer and most of the other recurring females on the show.
Chloe also tends to favor more of a business-casual fashions since the start of the show. She was often seen wearing blazers, though she generally paired these looks with youthful patterns and jewelry in her high school days. As a professional woman, Chloe's clothing has seen a shift to ornate blouses, pencil skirts and a variety of dressy jackets.
At times especially during the show's second season , dark streaks were sometimes seen in Chloe's hair. Notably, these occasions were reflecting a darker mood or more aggressive version of her character Rush , Exodus. Additionally, Chloe has also appeared in edgier fashions, like dark colors or leather. While she's seldom engaged in fieldwork as a member of the Justice League , these times often feature this change in her look.
Chloe is generally regarded as very attractive, and while less emphasis has been placed on her physical beauty than Lana's, Chloe is often a worthy adversary of Lana for male attention notably in the instance of Justin Gaines , Ian Randall and Travis George , and arguably also Gabriel Duncan. Most of the recurring male characters on the show have expressed a romantic or sexual interest in Chloe at one time or another Clark Kent has often found himself confused by his intermittent attraction to her, Pete Ross admittedly pined for her, Bart Allen flirted with her in all his appearances, and Oliver Queen , Jimmy Olsen and Davis Bloome have all cited their love for Chloe.
Also, Chloe was crowned queen at her high school senior prom — an award often associated with exceptional beauty and popularity — with almost unanimous votes. Chloe possesses a quick wit and a feisty, cheeky personality. Her childhood dream was to be a world-renowned journalist and her personality reflects her ambitions. She is independent, resourceful, as well as highly intelligent. Chloe has a small immediate family: as a result, she greatly values her friendships with Lana Lang , Clark Kent and Pete Ross.
She is fiercely loyal to her friends and eager to help them solve their problems, observe objectively, or offer straightforward, honest advice. She is caring and forgiving and never stays mad at anyone for long. Chloe has an insatiable curiosity and once believed "the public has a right to know. In high school, Chloe was often conflicted between her need to expose the truth and the ethical consequences of doing so. She enjoyed reporting on the town's strange goings-on and individuals with powers, but often realized too late that her disclosure could potentially have deadly consequences.
This is probably the main reason Clark Kent never actually told her about his true origins until he realized she had already discovered them. Early in their friendship, Lana Lang admitted that she didn't trust her. She has had arguments with most of her closest friends about breaches of privacy, lack of discretion and excessive snooping. Chloe has become a confidante for all of her friends, Clark most of all. Although Chloe disapproved of Lana's intense relationship with Lex Luthor , she tried to be supportive and was the Maid of Honor at their wedding.
Despite her long-standing crush on Clark, she is willing to help him solve his ongoing relationship problems with Lana [9] and then Lois. Chloe sometimes wears her emotions close to the surface and has in the past lashed out with tears and accusations, but later apologizes profusely. Rogue , Rosetta , Witness Chloe's unwavering devotion to her friends, Clark in particular, is another trait which others have used against her to manipulate her. Chloe exhibited narcissistic tendencies, as noted by Desaad who observed that her fatal flaw was her pride and need for control in all of her friendships.
These traits are shared by Lionel Luthor who recognized them in Chloe, leading him to employ her. Despite her tendency to disclose others' secrets, she herself is private about her own personal matters. She rarely mentions the anxiety she feels over her ailing mother. Chloe is also willing to sacrifice her own life for the greater good or the lives of her loved ones.
For a while, Clark was the only person aware of her meteor rock infection and mysterious resurrection: even then she refused to talk about it with him. Later, Chloe confessed to Jimmy Olsen that it was the reason she pulled away from their relationship.
She admitted to Jimmy that she is still coming to terms with this aspect of herself and asked him to keep it a secret. Besides journalism, Chloe enjoys writing, studying paranormal events, as well as is addicted to coffee. Nevertheless after she was infected by Brainiac and developed super intelligence, Chloe started to show malicious and arrogant traits.
In spite of the continuous warnings, she chose to use the Brainiac's powers and that almost caused the destruction of the world when Brainiac controlled her body. Her arrogance continues in the next seasons like when the Kandorians were active on Earth, Chloe took extreme measures to 'protect' Earth from them by collecting an arsenal of Kryptonite weapons despite Clark's assurances that he was attempting to help them integrate without their powers, later abandoning her friends and seemingly allying with Checkmate as part of a long-term plan to 'protect' Clark and other heroes, even though she was fully aware that Clark and others would object to her actions.
Her arrogance almost cost Chloe her soul when she faced Desaad believing that her friends couldn't beat him because they all had too much doubt and darkness in their hearts and although Chloe successfully resisted the sins of lust and the envy, Desaad faced her with the pride and she was almost corrupted by the darkness but Clark saved her just in time.
After Jimmy's death, Chloe chose to leave her life and dreams behind and focus on Watchtower. She went as far as to erase her identity but after her fight with Desaad, she regretted it when she saw her old yearbook showcasing who she used to be.
When infected by Brainiac , her personality became a bit more compulsive and aggressive, even colder towards others. She was more focused on getting the results she wanted than pleasing others.
Even before Brainiac fully took over her body, Chloe could read and process incoming data and information at alarming superhuman speeds and could apparently, tap into the machine's Kryptonian powers and abilities , exhibiting a degree of super strength and heightened movement.
She also went as far as killing a telepathic man simply by overloading his mind with information to protect Clark and his secret. When Brainiac completely took over Chloe's consciousness, she manifested an arrogant, sadistic madman-like personality. She menacingly taunted Clark to impale her body against the crystals in the Fortress of Solitude , violently broke into the Daily Planet , and was about to attack and kill Irma Ardeen after the latter tried to psychically probe her mind.
After Brainiac's nanites were finally extracted from Chloe's body by the combined effort of Rokk Krinn and Garth Ranzz , Clark celebrated the return of "the kinder, gentler Chloe". Over the years, Chloe has developed the research and computer skills to get just about any piece of information she needs. Chloe's computer skills qualify her as a member of the Justice League , as their information broker Watchtower. By early adulthood, Chloe could download satellite images, hack cellular phone records although she admitted doing this illegally and access old newspaper archives.
She carries a wide assortment of spy gear in the trunk of her car and is well-versed in their operation. She is highly skilled in using the Internet and other online databases of information. She has contacts in various strategic places, including the Smallville morgue [ citation needed ] , emergency services [ citation needed ] and police stations [ citation needed ].
Chloe helps Clark research in the Torch office. Chloe not only can search online databases: she can also create and forge information records. When Kara Kent came to Smallville, Chloe generated a detailed back story for her based on growing up in Minnesota for 19 years until Kara tracked down her blood relative, Clark Kent.
To support the back story, Chloe was able to produce records in order to make Kara's background more credible. She was also able to create an undercover background for Clark as a police officer from Coast City. Chloe also assisted Clark in giving the Kandorians human names, passports and id badges to blend into the Human Race she also erase records of her existing on the internet with ease showing great skill in that too.
Chloe hacking VRA computers. Chloe is a versatile and highly competent hacker, able to steal and manipulate information from individuals, LuthorCorp server and government agencies with ease, an ability she utilized for her later career as the Watchtower. Even after being cured of the Brainiac infection which she described as "certainly felt a lot dumber" , Chloe's computer skills proved a formidable asset. She once held her own in a hundred-round hacking battle against MIT-graduated computer prodigy Stuart Campbell , and managed to extort Campbell into being her mole with personal information she covertly collected.
She also the brought the Wonder Twins to discipline by threatening to unleash her digital prowess upon them if they did not comply. After trading herself as a hostage and faking her own death, Chloe erased all the digital trace of herself, to the point that even the Legion of Super-Heroes never heard of her in the future.
She later wrote a worm and permanently mothballed Rick Flag 's missiles, and successfully coerced the Suicide Squad under her own command. After the entire vigilante team was abducted by Lieutenant Trotter of the Vigilante Registration Agency , Chloe broke into the VRA facility with help of the Suicide Squad and inserted a digital avatar of herself to infiltrate the programme and rescue the heroes one by one, successfully breaking out Oliver Queen and Dinah Lance before being knocked out by VRA agents who broke into the lab.
Chloe's power activates for the first time in Phantom. Her power works by physical contact, which transfers another person's injury onto herself, thus healing that person in the process. However, Chloe herself will also experience the full agony of the transferred injury, which she will have to get over by slowly healing herself.
If it is a fatal injury, Chloe will suffer a clinical death for some time until her healing factor eventually prevails. So far, this was shown at least four times - two of which she activated intentionally.
Chloe used her powers for the first time in May at Reeves Dam , when she healed her cousin Lois , who died of severe bleeding from a deep stab wound. After Chloe found the lifeless Lois and started crying, a tear fell on Lois and the power was activated. Lois was revived and woke up in surprise to find her wound completely gone. Chloe herself was rendered unconscious, to such a degree that the staff at Smallville Medical Center pronounced her dead after prolonged attempts to resuscitate her failed.
However, she came back to life three hours later in full health and woke up in panic trapped inside the hospital morgue drawer. Panicked about her newly activated power, she went to seek treatment from Dr. Curtis Knox , who performed testing on her meteor infection and informed her that she has a high concentration of the mineral in her heart.
Chloe healing Jimmy's finger in Gemini. The second time Chloe used her powers, she had apparently gained some control over them. This time simply by touching, Chloe healed a deep cut in Jimmy Olsen 's finger as a demonstration of her newly professed status as a meteor freak. As she healed him, she explained that the side effects were harsh while visibly wincing and clutching her own finger, apparently taking on the pain of Jimmy's wound as consistent with her power's empathic nature.
Chloe uses her healing powers on Lex in Fracture. Throughout the rest of Season 7 , Chloe's abilities are capable of activating without her explicit will, as seen when her body eventually resurrected itself back to life. Her healing factor has yet to exhibit being able to accelerate Chloe's self-recuperation outside of resurrection, suggesting that her powers are still developing.
When she healed Lex Luthor after he was shot in the head, Clark observed that she had no heartbeat for 18 hours, much longer than her previous recovery period. This suggests that the empathic component to her powers may weaken over time, or that perhaps Lex's injury was just that much more severe than Lois'.
Chloe's healing power activates the last time in Arctic to protect herself against Brainiac's neural attack. The last time Chloe used her power was reactive to an attack at the Talon apartment by Brainiac , who pierced her head with finger probes in an attempt to infect and render her comatose like he had previously done to Lana Lang.
Chloe's healing factor was triggered and had a remarkable counter-impact on Brainiac, whose power reserves were severely depleted after the attack. However after she recovered, Chloe has not been able to successful used her healing powers ever again. She also couldn't use it to save the mortally wounded Jimmy, implying it is definitely gone.
This loss of power could be due to the infective neural remodelling done by Brainiac's nanites, but it is never really explained. In Season 3 , while exploring a secret lab in the LuthorCorp plant , Chloe was exposed to kryptonite -based viral truth gas and temporarily acquired the subconscious power to compel others to confess everything. As with other examples of kryptonite-induced powers, this ability seemingly lowered her morality, as she enjoyed making people tell her their most private thoughts and secrets with no regard for the consequences to those who were speaking, such as when she exposed a well-liked teacher's past role in a fatal terrorist bombing.
She even influenced Pete Ross into mentioning Clark's abilities and Martha Kent into mentioning Clark's conflict with his biological father although Clark was able to deflect and interrupt Chloe's interrogation before she could learn anything definite , prompted Lex Luthor to admit that he still wanted his father's love despite everything Lionel had done, and compel Lionel to confess about murdering his own parents which she recorded to extort him.
When Lionel attempted to force Chloe to discover Clark's secret , the truth gas started to cause her severe headaches. After learning about the gas' lethal toxicity from its original project's creator, Dr. Jonah Doyle , Clark acquired an anti-serum which he injected directly into Chloe's heart, curing her brain toxicity and restoring her original personality.
The guilt-ridden Chloe later thanked Clark and apologized for what she had forcibly exposed during her infection. Chloe using her super-intelligence to hack into the Crystal of Knowledge. Shortly after the encounter with Brainiac , Chloe manifested a form of super-intelligence in which she could retain and process data.
She was able to memorize and compute complex algorithms and crack codes faster than LuthorCorp's most powerful supercomputer and also read at super-speed. She also had access to Brainiac's greatly advanced knowledge of the universe.
It also allowed her to hack into the Crystal of Knowledge and created a portal into the Phantom Zone. After the Brainiac nanites were removed from her body by the Rokk and Garth of the Legion of Super-Heroes , Chloe's super-intelligence disappeared along with her super-strength and super-speed, to which Chloe later commented she "definitely feel a whole lot dumber". After being infected by Brainiac, Chloe demonstrated some form of temporary super-strength while attempting to open a portal to free Clark and Kara from the Phantom Zone.
When Brainiac completely possessed Chloe after her wedding abduction by Doomsday , she was capable of some Kryptonian superpowers. She once again demonstrated super-strength by snatch-lifting and throwing Clark Kent all the way across the Fortress of Solitude.
After the Brainiac nanites were removed from her body by the Rokk and Garth , Chloe's super-strength disappeared along with her super-intelligence and super-speed. After Brianiac fully possessed Chloe, she was able to super-speed from the Arctic back to Metropolis within minutes, and attempted to download all the information off the people of Earth using the Daily Planet server, and was only stopped by a combined effort from the Legion of Super-Heroes.
After the Brainiac nanites were removed from her body, Chloe's and super-speed disappeared along with her super-intelligence and super-strength. Chloe was born in Metropolis in either late or early One day Chloe came home with her hands covered in ink. When Moira instructed her to wash them, Chloe disobeyed. Moira again told her to wash them until the ink was gone, but found Chloe scrubbing her hands until they bled. Moira realized that she could control her daughter with her meteor power and possibly hurt her, so she had herself committed to a mental institution.
Chloe was unaware of this fact until her senior year of high school Scare , believing before then that her mother was simply not interested in having a relationship with her. She also became good friends with Pete Ross in eighth grade.
Queen at Watchtower. Six months later , Chloe currently resides within the walls of Watchtower , back in Metropolis with her husband Oliver Queen. The two share a coffee together as they wait for any signs of Superman before resuming their previous plans. At Watchtower, a frazzled Chloe complains about the lack of speed of the computer as she attempts to access the data-banks of the Korolyov. Lois comes by with coffee and asks what has Chloe so stressed. She explains that she's trying to find out just what was the energy ribbon - or "rift", as she refers to it - that Clark saw in space.
Lois assures her that they will get married when the time is right, when the world is in less danger, Clark isn't trying to save it, and Lois isn't busy reporting on the danger and Clark's saving the day. Chloe commiserates, acknowledging how tough it is when Oliver is rebuilding Queen Industries while going out and being a hero, as she's busy taking care of Watchtower and setting up similar Watchtower hubs in each of the Justice League member's home cities while working her day job as a reporter for the Star City Gazette.
As Chloe thanks Lois for the coffee, the computer completes accessing the systems on the Korolyov. With the camera feeds now online, Chloe rewinds to the incident the rift and the debris that smashed into the station.
Lois and Chloe are both shocked to see something floating amongst the debris; a spaceship. While Superman is in space, he uses a handheld scanner to search for evidence of the storm while communicating with Chloe at the Swann Technology and Research facility back on Earth using a holographic interface emanating from his belt.
He's not able to find a cause nor any sign of debris or the spaceship Chloe and Lois saw emerge from the rift on the video from the Korolyov. He notes that he's already scanned the spectrum with his super-vision and found nothing. Chloe asks how long he's had this ability and Dr. Emil Hamilton jumps in to say it has been months. On Earth, Emil explains to Chloe that Dr. Virgil Swann 's will dictated that the facility, also known as S.
Labs, was created to help " the Traveler " learn more about himself and the world around him. Emil explains that, during testing of Superman's abilities, their research into his X-Ray vision revealed these multi-spectrum capabilities. She was saved by Bart Allen.
In Clark's delusional dream, Chloe was shot in the chest by the Luthor's bodyguards and died in Clark arms. Chloe was nearly run over when Lex's team while kidnapping meteor freaks.
Later in the episode when meteor freaks were being assassinated, Clark saved Chloe by removing the GPS device that had been put inside her. Lex forces Chloe's mother Moira to use her power to help him and threatened to kill Chloe. Finally, both are rescued by Clark. Jimmy fought in the lobby with a gunman, but the gunman gets the upper hand and knocks Chloe off the balcony.
She falls down the middle of the spiral staircase but Clark caught her just before she hit the floor. Chloe died briefly after using her meteor power to bring Lois Lane back to life. She came back to life in the morgue, possibly through the use of a latent healing factor. Chloe was pronounced dead by the doctors who tried to saved her and later was sent to the morgue were she resurrected thanks to her powers and was rescued by Clark.
Curtis Knox tried to kill Chloe to steal her kryptonite-rich heart and give his wife Sophia immortality. Clark fought with Dr. Knox, and saved Chloe from death. Chloe discovered that a bomb had been planted on her by Adrian Cross while she was trapped in an elevator with Jimmy Olsen. Bizarro saved them both, and threw the bomb off the roof of the Daily Planet.
She was rescued by Oliver. Chloe died after using her powers to heal Lex. She was dead for 18 hours, before coming back to life through her meteor power. Brainiac pierced Chloe's head with his finger tendrils but Chloe's power enabled her to resist for a short while. She was left in catatonic state and Clark saved her.
Bette Sans Souci attacked Chloe with her ability to project explosive force, but Clark saved her using his super speed and invulnerability. Chloe and Jimmy were abducted by a psychotic jeweler who electrocuted them when they failed a lie detector test.
He freed them after they passed his test. Faora tracked down Chloe and began to strangle her demanding information about her son before Chloe dropped her files of Davis on the floor and Faora left.
Brainiac began to remove all of Chloe's memories, until she had almost no memories left. Clark went to Jor-El, and had him restore almost all of her memories and saved her.
Chloe is kidnapped by a super-powered Davis Bloome, and brought to the Fortress of Solitude were she was possessed by Brainiac. The Legion was going to kill Chloe when she was possessed by Brainiac, as they didn't know any other way to stop Brainiac. Clark intervened before they could do it, however, and they agreed to work together to remove Brainiac and keep Chloe alive.
While visiting Oliver at the hospital, Chloe was ambushed by Winslow Schott who knocked her unconscious with gas. After she recovered, she helped Clark and Lana track him down.
During an alternate timeline, Chloe discovered the truth about Davis Bloome and ran for her life from him but was killed by Doomsday before she could escape. Chloe was about to be killed by Davis Bloome after he learned the truth about their relationship but she was saved by the sacrifice of Jimmy. In a possible future, Alia killed Chloe with a sword on the streets of Metropolis and died in Lois arms.
Clark saved Chloe from being killed by Vordigan when he unknowingly arrived in time at the Watchtower, causing Vordigan to flee.
