Just the two of you here from the site that I'm waiting on. I hate to muddy the waters, but you may also want to consider the Cobra Speed Zone? It's uber inexpensive, and still available brand new in a lot of places. Great driver. I have the Rad Speed today, but I don't think you are likely to be able to tell the difference between the two Filtered by:.
Previous template Next. Hi, does anyone here have any experience with bending CG14s. When i went to pick it up there was a note that said "wont bend".
I talked to them and they said since its a cast club they cant bend it. Ive talked to others and they have done it but say its risky. Can anyone here put in some of their input. Tags: None. I play Cleveland 50, 54, 58 10 bounce wedges and am going to Try the 50 degree CBX for approach shots. Thinking about just buying the 50 so wondering if you have any comments. This seems to fit the bill of a AW replacement to better transition from my GI to it to blade wedges. These are the wedges I would like to help o.
Your testing. This maybe just what I need. Own CB forged iron but blade wedges in 48,52,56,60, but with long hosel and heel geared sweet spot I tend the pull way to many wedges left. I look forward to trying these out as I feel they will save me strokes around , play to a 9.
Trying to loft a shot and having the sole hard angled to a fairway will just create more miss hits. I would only use this in a bunker or buried rough…. Beginning players have the tendency to strike behind the ball impacting the ground first. Having a high bounce degree and a V grind will only make the club kick higher when the club impacts the ground creating more bladed shots. V grinded soles are for more direct ball strikers and are best for play on very plush conditions.
You sound like the typical 10 handicap who gives his golf buddies swing advice on the 3rd tee box. I play in south Louisiana where at least six months of the year the fairways are hard as rock. These new Cleveland wedges appear to me to be the last thing needed to play from hardpan. Methusala taught me to play with a stick, a shovel, a syckel, and a spoon!!! These sissies need lessons, you should play wedge shots with your Iron Will, Hercules did, Seve did!!!
Comments are hilarious and most golfers are stupidly egotistical. Try something, who knows, you might like it. I think most of you are missing the point of this wedge. Instead think about the vast majority of golfers who are high handicappers and do not have a huge preference in what they play. This is an extremely logical fit for them. When these people walk into a golf store they have always had the choice of a steel blade, a steel blade, or a steel blade.
Now they can play a cavity back with a lighter steel, graphite, or ladies shaft. They can also still buy the steel blade. Cleveland got this right. And they often have awful short games. Kudos to Cleveland for thinking outside the box to help these players! I used Vokey for many years. Go to topic listing. Recently Browsing 0 members No registered users viewing this page.
