Why is cogeco webmail so slow




















Times out pretty often on both checking and receiving email, although sometimes we're lucky and it'll do everything quickly right away. What is going on with the email servers?

Just out of curiosity, is everyone using Outlook Express? I just sent 6 test emails with a 1. I ended up using each of the following servers with same results successfully, fep1.

I wonder why this is not more apparent to the people at Cogeco as one of the culprits and have them check that first. The cogeco help desk people only give out a 'workaround' for the problem ie "use webmail. This works fine, but it is cumbersome and really isn't a solution to the problem. I guess if they have a simple workaround, that is what they are going to give out to people. Can't blame them I guess.
